Introduction

The Wall of Fame: one of the very few locations in Budapest where Graffiti Art is allowed, and numerous famous Graffiti Artists such as Taker, often places new Graffiti Art on this Wall. Via this page you can view a selection of the monthly changes of the Art on The Wall of Fame.

Julius started In March 2011 with taking pictures on this location. Except July 2011, due to translation of the websites in English, monthly pictures were taken and  from August 2012 on, if possible, weekly.

The quality of the first pictures is less than the more recent ones, but still not the quality Julius has in mind. Due to bad equipment and no funds to buy a better camera, this is the best result Julius can offer. For 2012 the newest gallery is added at the upperside of the overview.

A monthly selection of new pictures on The Wall of Fame in 2012.

April 2012

The pictures in this gallery were made between April 2 and May 1, 2012.

A lot of changes took place during this month, a few artworks disappeared already after a couple of days. A part of the Wall is still a bit dilapidated due to damaged Artworks, especially those which were made during Christmas 2012, but several recently made Artworks were also already damaged within a few days. The beautiful Artwork of Steve Jobs, made by Taker, disappared this month, and the same for an Artwork made by Deneb..

But also new Artworks by members of the MB-crew were added and also the AFX-crew added new Graffiti Art on this Wall. Below a selection of the new Graffiti Artworks, with a lot of detailed photographs. Photographs 2 and 3 in this gallery shows an changed Artwork made by the MB-crew. The first one was made in December 2011, the second one was made in April 2012.

March 2012

The pictures in this gallery were made between March 2 and March 28, 2012.

Several changes took place during this month, a few artworks disappeared already after a couple of days. A part of the Wall is a bit dilapidated due to damaged Artworks, especially those which were made during Christmas 2012. The Artwork of Steve Jobs, made by Taker survived also this month ans is still of a good quality.

Deneb added one his typical Artworks (first photographin this gallery) and also Art by members of the AFX Crew ( the second photograph), Mega and others were added. During the most recent visit on April 2, 2012 already new changes were made, they will be shown in the April gallery of this series.




 

February 2012

The pictures in this gallery were made on January 29, February 1, February 11 and February 29, 2012.

During this month almost nothing changed. The most important change was the overpainting of the not finished Artwork "Fehér Rósza". Which is shoiwn on this page as an unfinnished Artwork.The very few changes are shown below. The first three photographs show an Artwork made at the end of January 2012 by members of the AFX-crew. The last addition of a new Artwork on the Wall was made on February 29, but at that date not finished.


 

January 2012

The pictures in this gallery were made on January 3, January 29 and February 1, 2012.

The last 4 pictures of this gallery show an artwork made on January 29, 2012.This part of The Wall of Fame changed two times between the end of December 2011 and February 1, 2012.

Special atention deserves an artwork which is not yet finished yet due to the cold and the influences on the paint.  It's called "Fehér Rósza" and named after a German restance movement during WW2 against the policy of Adolf Hitler. As soon as this artwork is finished, more detailed photographs wil be shown on Budapestgraffiti.

March 2011

The first monthly page showing graffiti art on the Wall of Fame in Budapest.

The first time visited by Julius on March 20, 2011 and  he was surprised by the beautiful art that was on this location. Works by Taker (2 at that moment) and another beautiful artwork deserved a longer life. Unfortunately only the pitures rember to these artworks.

Sine then Julius visited this location more or less regular, but due to the high quality and often changing pictures form Augus 2011 on, if possible, twice a week.

April 2011

The second month in the series of graffiti art on The Wall. The gallery is a selection of artworks on The Wall in this month.

In this month one splendid artwork was added which already survived several month, very unique for this location but the quality is, early September 2011 less than it was. This artwork refers to Klimt, Art Nouveau but also contains horrible scenes if you look closely and with a zoom (see the gallery)
.

May 2011

This month mainly numerous art with letters where shown on the Wall, as far as Julius know no splendid pictures by Taker or other artists.

Nevertheless a good overvieuw with some beautiful artworks. It's a small gallery because Julius didn't got the idea to make a monthly page of The Wall at that moment.

June 2011

In June several huge artworks where to see on the Wall. Very long art, which makes it difficult to make a good photographs of it.

The gallery of this month thefore also showing details of these artworks, beside of a picture of the whole artwork or the same artwork seen from the other side.

August 2011

The pictures in this gallery are made on several dates in August and it was a month with a lot of new art.

The whole month and at least till September 5, a beautiful artwork by Taker could be seen and there changed a lot in only a short time.

The gallery shows some highlights of this month. it's a selection. One of the most beautiful pictures (and a favorite of Julius) on the Wall in August (see the gallery) was disappeared at the end of the month.

September 2011

The pictures in this gallery are made on several dates from September 3 to September 30, 2011.

There were quick changes this month, some art was already  disappeared after one week. Also the beautiful art work by Taker didn't survive the end of this month. But several new beautiful works were made too.The names of the artists wil be added later




 

October 2011

The pictures in this gallery are made on several dates between October 6 and October 23, 2011.

There were quick changes this month, some art was already disappeared after one week. The highlight of this month is the splendid artwork made by Taker on October 6, 2011 of of Apple Ceo Steve Jobs. This artwork survived several months afterwards. Also the artwork of Deneb made on the occasion of the National hholiday on October 23 is a beauty and, as often in the artworks made by this artist, with a political message.

November 2011

The most of the pictures in this gallery are made on November 4 and November 23, 2011. The last 6 pictures were made on December 1, 2011 in the morning and show new artworks made after November 4, 2011.

During this momth not so much changes were made, the major change was the disapperaring of the "Klimt" artwork by Heat.s

On this page also two pictures of an artwork aded at the end of May / early June 2011 and that during that time and November 4, 2011 was changed.

December 2011

The pictures in this gallery are made at December 30, 2011.

On that date almost the whole Wall of Fame was changed with paintings made during and around Christmas. One of the few artworks that survived was the Steve Jobs artwork made by Taker. The pictures show some of the artworks, it fact it's one artwork made by several artists. Parts of this artwork diasppeared in January 2012.
