Introduction

This part of the website Budapestgraffiti contains an overview of photo galleries of graffiti art which are made by (often) anonymous artitst.

This chapter is divided in several pages each dedicated to a subject. It's a first version, Budapestgraffiti is online since August 10, 2011.

Wall of Fame

The Wall of Fame.... an official location in Budapest on which graffiti art is allowed.

Numerous famous artists of the Budapest graffiti scene are often making art on this wall. Sometimes the art survived several weeks or months, sometimes it is disappeared after a few days.

This location is visited very frequently by Julius to see the new paintings. Once a month a selection of new art is placed under this chapter. Till now galleries can be viewed from the month March, April, May, June and August 2011.

Locations

In this chapter non commercial graffiti art is shown as can be found on numerous locations in Budapest.

These locations often will be visited by Julius to see if there is new art and also when new locations are found they will added to this chapter. Mid 2011 Julius knows more than 25 locations in Budapest and from all these locations, some highlights will be shown. In near fuure also disappeared locations will be shown.

Artists

A page which shall show graffiti art made by artists or on base of signs. From each artist some highlights of works made by him (most artists are men) wil be shown.

This chapter is online since September 27, 2011. Temporarely with only one gallery, devoted to the artist Taker. Galleries 2 and 3 are under construction and will be online around October 5, 2011.

Categories

This chapter contains some highlights of Budapest graffiti art devided in categories such as Comic figures, animals, political, shops and so on. This chapter will be ready in the first version online on Ocober 1, 2011.
