Topics: Introduction * Existing locations in 2012 * Disappeared locations 2010 - 2012

Introduction
This part of the website Budapestgraffiti is a follow up of the old version which till August 2011 was a part of the Szia and Sziabudapest websites. These galleries gradually will be integrated into this chapter of Budapestgraffiti. It shows till know 39 existing locations in Budapest with Graffiti Art. Each location will be visit frequently, depending on the importance of the location. New locations will be added too. In the period 2010-2012 Julius has made photographs on almost 70! locations which almost all still exists.
In stead of the former pages on Szia and Sziabudapest, addresses of the locations will not be given. The work done by Julius discovering these locations, taking pictures and to keep the information up-to-date, is that big that Julius decided to keep this information secret to avoid that others make too much profit of his work. Beside of it several locations are officially forbidden for visitors and the visiting of the dilapidated buildings is not without risk, in fact can be (very) dangereous. On request Julius is able to give a private tour along several locations with beautiful Graffiti Art.
Existing locations in 2012

Location I
The First gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visit this location, if possible, at least weekly. It's the so called "The Wall of Fame", for a long time it was the only official Graffiti Art location in Budapest. In 2011 also on some new locations it was legal to put Graffiti on a Wall. It's difficult to follow the developments on this Wall because there are periods that Graffiti Art already within a couple of days is replaced by new ones. This is one of the few locations where the Graffiti Artist Taker makes Artworks. The link shows you an overview page about Art on "The Wall of Fame" where you are able to view almost monthly galleries of changes on this Wall.
Location II
This is the Second gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now numerous times, the last visit was at the end of June 2012.On this location e.g. work by the same artist who's making art as on the VIII. János Pal Papa tér location around Metro 4 station. In general is this a very interesting location, but difficult to make good photographs due to the place and technical problems.
The gallery exists of three pages, the first page contains pictures made on March 30, 2011. The second gallery contains pictures made on August 10, 2011 and the third gallery show photographs made on February 10, 2012.

It's a dilapidated builing in the southern part of Budapest.Since the first visit no new images were added to this location. The first gallery shows some highlights of the graffiti art, the second gallery shows some pictures of the inside of the dilapidated building.
Location IV
This is the Fourth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now twice, The first visit was on May 9, 2011.A dilapidated factory in a suburb of Budapest. Not a very special location, mainly interesting for the detail left on the photo and the whole picture which can be seen on this page.
Since the first visit the building is even more dilapidated, there was a fire in a part, which destroyed several Graffiti Artworks but there are also new Artworks made.
Location V
The Fifth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now several times, the first visit was on March 31, 2011.A dilapidated factory in a suburb of Budapest. Not a very special location, but in this factory Graffiti Art of an older date (1987?) and probable from the same artist from whom art like this, and often marked with "1987" can be found on numerous locations in Budapest, and in particular near railways. In fact it's very primitive art without perspective. Beside of it some art of another artist whos signs on several places in Budapest is to find.
Location VI
The Sixth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now several times. The first visit was on March 28, 2011.This location shows art on a wall of a channeled ditch with sloping walls. The page is divided in three parts: Gallery one shows the first part of this location with mainly older Graffiti Art, which for a huge part is disappeared in 2012. The second galery shows the second part of this Wall on the other side of a road. The third gallery is in prepararion and will show Art in the neighbourhood
Most of the photographs in gallery one shows Graffiti Art of an older date and they are not made by artists like members of the ICC-Crew, MB-Crew, AFX-Crew and so on. In fact the artist "153" is the most important artist on this location and he makes very interesting Art.
Location VII
The Seventh gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now only once, on March 17, 2011.It's graffiti of, mostly, 1995 and hidden for a big part of the year behind bushes. A bit primitive, childish art with often a tag of BGM. The gallery shows you several examples of this wall which was found by Julius in the Northern part of Budapest.
Location VIII
Gallery Eight in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now several times, the gallery on this page shows the situation on March 17, 2011.It's a location that numerous people pass every day, but are not able to see it. A small, very interesting location which still contains an old Graffiti Art image by the artist Taker and many art by MB, a group of active graffiti artists.
Since March Julius visited this location frequently, and some art shown on this gallery is disappeared.
Location IX
Gallery Nine in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now very frequently. It's a new location (since 2011), numerous art isn't replaced by new art.The gallery exists of three pages: the first one shows a very strange series of art: paintings, a bit primitive but beautiful. This series is almost completely different of other graffiti art in Budapest and not all art was made by the same artist. The second gallery contains pictures made on September 3 and 9, 2011 and showing new additions on this wall. The third gallery contains photographs of changes on this Wall made between September 23, 2011 and February 15, 2011.
Location X
This is the Tenth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now several times. The first visit was on August 13, 2011, the last one on February 12, 2012.In the nothern part of Budapest, not far from other locations, Julius found a channeled ditch with on the slanted walls some graffiti art. A strange place because only very few people will walk along and are able to see the art. Most of the graffiti is from older date, the newest ones dates from 2010.
Location XI
This is the Eleventh gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now twice, on June 9, 2011 and February 19, 2012. Photographs made during that visit and changes, will be added soon. It's not the best gallery which Julius has made and better photographs will be added later if the weather and overgrowth make this possible. Nevertheless, some interesting Graffiti Art paintings and, again, one picture which is dated 1987 (but is of a more recent date).
Location XII
This is the Twelveth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now several times. First visit was on August 20, 2011, the last one on February 13, 2012.It's mostly old graffiti, partly hidden in a dilapidated building, near a railway. A location which officially is forbidden to visitors, there's a guard, but Julius had luck that he was able to take some pictures before the guard noticed him.
In this building also on a wall some pop posters from 2005 with e.g. concerts in A38.
Location XIII
This is the Thirteenth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now twice. The first visit was on June 9, 2011.The gallery shows a wall and details of it and a separate piece of art, with is to find next to it. A very strange series of art, but beautiful.
Location XIV
This is the Fourteenth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location several times and the photographs in this gallery were made on several dates. It's one of the most important locations in Budapest with work by numerous artists and continuously changing. Therefore Julius tries to visit this locations once a week.

Location XV
This is the Fifteenth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now several times, the first visit was on September 3m 2011.It's a location existing since approx. August 2011. Numerous art never is be overpainted. Thanks to Taker who gave me the information that it's not an official location but they had permission to paint the wall.
Although it's far away from "The Wall of Fame", numerous artists making art on both locations, such as Taker. Julius will follow the developments on this location from now on frequently, it has the potention to become just as famous as "The Wall". This gallery exists of two pages, the first page shows 2011 Graffiti Artworks, the second page 2012 Artworks.
Location XVI
This is the Sixteenthgallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now several times. The last visit was on February 13, 2012. At that date the Wall contains already an 2012 Artwork by members of the ICC-Crew. Soon this page will be updatedIn fact it's not one location but a row of garage boxes over a lenght of at least 2 kilometers with at the backside the graffiti art. The a location only occasionally gets updates, most graffiti is of older date.
The reason is probable the location: the place more and more is inhabitated by homeless with own-made "houses", and a place with a lot of waste. Beside of it, It's a difficult place to take photographs, because there's partial only a small path between the backside of the boxes and a slope. The gallery is put on 2 pages to avoid a long loading time.

Changes made between the visits wil be added soon to this gallery. It's a gallery with older graffiti art, going back to 2007 but regular changes take place, although due to the overgrowth it's only possible on a part of the wall. The artists are partial the same who are responsible for many beautiful graffiti art in Budapest.
Location XIX
This is the Nineteenth gallery in the series of Budapest Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location till now only twice, on September 24, 2011 and February 13, 2012. The photographs made during this visit still must be compared with the earlier made photographs, but is seems that almost nothing changed.A strange series, with numerous art with political statements, mostly made by Norse. But also others such as Deneb (members of the ICC-Crew) have make art on this wall. Most Graffiti Art dates from the periode between 2007 and 2011. It's a selection, because there's too much art to show on this page. If updates are available a second page will be added.

Julius visited this location in the southern part of Budapest till now several times, the last visit was early February 2012.I fact it are two locations: a dilapidated facory building and a wall which surrounds this building partial. A that date almost nothing was changed. It's a rather hidden spot in a suburb of Budapest and is a passage for water under a railroad. Not a big location, only a few works, but nevertheless worth to publish.
Most Art is made in 2010 or 2011, some older works are still there. The artists are partial the same who are responsible for more Artworks in this neighbourhood.

Location XXXI
This is gallery Thirty-one in the series of Budapest non-commercial Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location until now several times. The first visit was on March 28, 2011, the last visit was at February 9, 2012.In fact it's almost the same location as shown in gallery XXX. This is gallery Thirty-three in the series of Budapest non-commercial Graffiti Art locations. Julius visited this location until now only three: on September 11, 2011, February 24, 2012 and June 26, 2012..When the first visit was made to this complex of dilapidated buildings (a former Railway complex in the outskirts of Budapest), there was a lot of overgrowth and some homeless people used the buildings as their home. Even one person cleaned one of the dilapidated buildings and had a lock on her door. During the second visit, nobody was living there anymore, they were undoubtly forced to move and one building was already partial pulled down. A lot of trees and so on also were removed. I feared a guard, but I was able to make photographs of all Artworks.
Between the two visits almost nothing changed. On this location e.g. two beautiful Graffiti Artworks by Heat. None Artworks bij members of the ICC-crew and beside some unknown artistst.

In this former complex which e.g. contains a garage at this moment a kind of mini-exhibition is held by the artist Heat, one of the most important Graffiti artists in Budapest. In 2012 he made 5 Artworks on this location from which one that is that huge, that due to the small distance between two walls, it's impossible to put the whole Artwork on one picture. Location XXXV

The Wall is a bit dilapidated due to the age of numerous Artworks, but still of a high quality.
